The 37TH annual Easter Viol Workshop in 2016 is presented by the
Australian Viola da Gamba Society Inc. The AVdGS was founded in
June 2000 with the aim of promoting all aspects of the instrument in
Australia. The flagship event is the 4-day annual Easter Viol School
held in a different city each year. Other events include an annual
weekend Consortium, consort days in Melbourne and Sydney, a
stimulating newsletter issued 4 times a year. For participants who
are not already members of the AVDGS a $35 joining fee will be
