Dear members and viol friends,
It’s my pleasure to deliver the enrolment form and information regarding next year’s National Viol School in Beechworth.
Friday 7th April – Monday 10th April 2023
Beechworth Secondary College, Beechworth VIC
As well as a gorgeous location, we are very excited to have secured a stellar line up of tutors: Joshua Keller (USA), Pippa Macmillan (UK, Canada), Laura Moore, Lizzy Welsh and John Weretka.
As this school is being held over the Easter long weekend and Beechworth is a popular tourist destination for that time of year, please don’t delay in securing accommodation. As outlined in the attached document, there are options for accommodation in the Beechworth surrounds that may also be suitable.
We also plan to run a partner’s program taking full advantage of all the fabulous activities in the local area.

National Viol School
The AVdGS Committee has been working hard to secure a National Viol School for this year albeit with an altered format.
We’ll be running the National Viol School concurrently in Melbourne and Canberra. For those members who are unable to attend either location, lectures and selected classes will be available as a resource online. We’ll also be running virtual social gatherings and lectures between the two locations.
Exact venues are yet to be confirmed as with tutors, but we are looking solely at our substantive Australian talent for tutors.
